Lighthouse Women & Children's Mission would
like to offer its deepest thanks and appreciation
to the Harriet H. Samuelsson Foundation for generously
providing a $20,000 grant to support the development
of children’s services. Grant funding will
specifically be used to recruit and hire a full
time children’s services specialist to develop
and implement the children’s services program.
Our mission of refuge, recovery, and restoration
for those in need can only be carried out through
the support of community partners like the Harriet
H. Samuelsson Foundation. It is an honor to partner
with the foundation to further develop children’s
programming at the Lighthouse to equip our homeless
children with the skills, support, and encouragement
they need to successfully work through the issues
