Central Coast Rescue Mission

About Us

In April 1999, a few concerned citizens of Santa Maria and bordering cities banded together to tackle the mounting problems of homelessness, alcoholism, and drug addiction. That same year, Central Coast Rescue Mission was established to provide food, shelter, and intervention services for the less fortunate.

In June 2002, the mission opened its Residential Drug and Alcohol Recovery program for homeless men with addictions at 1207 North McClelland in Santa Maria where it remains today. Central Coast Rescue Mission became an outreach ministry of the Rescue Mission Alliance organization in August 2003. Today, the Central Coast Rescue Mission provides a daily meals outreach program to the homeless, a 12 bed residential drug and alcohol recovery program for men, and 6 beds dedicated to transitional housing for program graduates.

We are located at 1207 N. McClelland St. in Santa Maria where we operate a Christian sober living program for men with addictions.
