Donating Vehicles

At our Auto Donation Center, formerly homeless men are trained to detail, repair, and sell cars. 100% of the net proceeds from our vehicle donation program go to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, clothe the poor, and rehabilitate people into productive citizens again. Please call (800) 417-5678 to schedule a pickup or drop-off your vehicle.

Your car, truck, RV, or boat donation is tax deductible.

You will receive a tax-deductible receipt with our thanks.

While we often accept vehicles in any condition – running or not – due to differing regulations and other considerations, not all types of vehicles can be accepted, so it's best to contact us first.

How can I contact you to schedule a pick up?
Call us at (800) 417-5678 to schedule a pickup or drop-off your vehicle. 

What can I donate?
Cars, boats, RVs, travel trailers, fleet vehicles, car parts, and tools. If you have any questions about what you can donate, please call us at (800) 417-5678 for more information.

What do I need to do to donate my vehicle?
Provide us with the title, registration, and keys to the vehicle. If you do not have title papers call us anyway; other arrangements can be made in most instances. You can contact us by calling toll-free at (800) 417-5678.

How will the car be picked up?
At the scheduled time, we will arrange the proper vehicle to tow your car, boat, truck, RV or travel trailer.

How long will it take to pick up my car?
As soon as you contact us, we can normally pick up your car within a few days. If you need your car picked up sooner, we can make those arrangements.

How much of the value goes to Rescue Mission Alliance?
Every penny--Since there are no middlemen, 100% of your vehicle's net proceeds goes to the Rescue Mission Alliance to support its programs for the poor and homeless.

How is the value of my car determined?
We can refer you to IRS Publication, which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. You can review this publication on the IRS web site. If your donation is worth more than $5,000, you will need an appraisal for tax purposes.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Rescue Mission Alliance is a 501 (c) [3] all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law and the individual will receive a receipt upon donation.
